So the start of this Motown Concert weekend in Greenville, NC brings in Bass singer/percussionist Solomon Howard. Being the saratorialist that I am I had to get his picture and observed the suit structure that is sweeping formal mens wear.
Tapered sides, converging lapels at the belly button, and pants structured to have no breaks just to accomodate the socks and shoes. Actually most of these style choices are subjective to the wearer and have always been. However more men are doing this and Im proud—they should. Whatever makes the suit look as crisp n’ custom and the wearer more refined the better to me. Don’t forget to top it off with tassled loafers just like old times. (See bottom picture both shoes feature tassels—love em.)
